“Can you remember who you were, before the world told you who to be?” - Charles Bukowski

I had this quote on my story on social media. She directly messaged me “Such a strong question”.

I wrote back “It’s THE question”. 

That is my truth and it doesn’t need to be anyone else's but for me, that is THE question. It is THE question that I watch client after client after client ask themselves in various different expressions and ways, yet it is the same core question. 

Before you were praised or shunned for specific ways of being and showing up in the world. Before you were directed and guided on how to think, talk, walk, move, carry yourself. Before you were pressured to NOT be a way. Before you were told that there is a right and a wrong. Before you were indoctrinated into society and the narrow scope of who society thinks that you should be. Before, your family encouraged you in one direction or another. 

This question, is THE question for each of us to be with in a really deep way.
