Sweaty mess
It was almost 80 degrees in October in New Hampshire which seemed like nothing short of a gift from Mother Nature. Between clients I would go outside even if it was only for a couple of moments. I noticed that each time I went out my body would sweat, which surprised me because it wasn’t THAT hot and I wasn’t outside THAT long.
The third time outside that day I stood barefoot on the driveway with my eyes closed and my face in the sunshine. I was listening to the sound of the falling leaves rustling around in the wind while soaking up every ounce of sunshine. my body would allow. Within moments, my body started to sweat. Odd, I thought to myself again. And then, I paused. Why was my body sweating so quickly? That wasn’t normal for me. What was my body trying to tell me? I knew and trusted my body and I am very intune with it. The answer came as quickly as I asked the question, my body was purging energy. This was a very comfortable way for my body to purge and I was grateful for that.
Armed with clarity on what my body was doing, I went outside when I was done with clients and laid down on a black mat with a black shirt and black pants on. My body was in heaven. I sweat like crazy. Sweat rolled down every part of my body, as if I were running a marathon.
“I have got you, body. I see what you are trying to do for me and I am going to support that. Bring on the sweat, baby!” I said as I lay in the direct sun sweating profusely and showing deep gratitude for all of the energy that wasn’t aligned and was leaving my body.
