We were finishing our healing session and she started to ask me about an upcoming workshop that would be starting in July and if she should attend. 

“Don’t forget the discount in Patreon” I reminded her. I always put a discount code into Patreon for each workshop so the people in that membership program get rewarded for being in the membership program. 

“I didn’t use that code last workshop” she said.

“I know, why?” I asked.

“Because, there is no price for what I get from working with you. You can’t pay money for inner peace. There is no money or price for that.” she said.

I sat quietly, trying to receive what she was saying to me while recognizing that it was hard for me to receive.

“Do you know what I mean, Erin?” she said quietly. 

“Thank you. I know what you mean” I said back, still struggling to fully receive the compliment. 

“I get so much from your programs and workshops. They are amazing.” she said gently.

And, with that last statement her compliment finally landed. I sat for a moment, reflecting about the people in the Aligned Surrender program and just that week getting to watch 2 particular participants verbally process in a way that showed me that they truly understood the benefit of doing deep introspective healing work. We went on to talk about those two participants and how breathtaking it was to witness them in their process. It is breathtaking each and every time I get to witness it and there is nothing that I would rather be doing for work than helping people explore and heal themselves and find peace and balance in life. 

We finished our session and I sat in silence for a moment feeling deep gratitude for her, the way that she shows up in the world, and the way that she supports my own growth and personal development.
