“Will you dance with me” I asked. I knew that they could touch, taste, feel and hear the vulnerablity of my question. 

No words were required. 

As they pressed their heart against mine and pulled me close I whispered “this is a song and dance called, how to love me.”

I felt heard and seen. 

“I will show you the steps that I have learned. There will be more moves, some that I will learn myself and some that we will learn together.” 

“I will teach you how to love me, from what I have learned myself, and I will learn from you also”. I whispered into their ear. 

“When we are done this dance, will you show me how to love you?” I asked.
